LexCity Family,
We are until further notice moving to an online church model in order to stand together against the spread of COVID-19. Our staff has been working tirelessly to further develop LexCity.tv to include kids & student programming. Authentic Community will continue to be value for us in this seasons. Groups and ministry teams will have access to build relationship in video calls throughout the week. Stay connected on all our social media platforms and share our encouraging content daily. We are here for you.

Hey LexCity Family,

With the fluid nature of the information we are receiving, we wanted to give you our latest update on what’s happening at LexCity Church in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in our area. Like you, we have been following this evolving story with great concern. We have been in contact with healthcare professionals and state officials and a number of other pastors in the area to gain perspective on how to best move forward. At this time, we believe the wisest and most responsible action we can take moving forward is to cancel this weekend’s in-person gathering. This includes all weekday and weekend ministry events.

Instead, we encourage all of you to join us for our Online Campus services, which will meet on Sunday at 10am EDT & 11:30am EDT. You can gather with us at lexcity.tv for these services. The service will also be available on-demand at lexcity.tv and lexcity.church following our online gatherings.

This decision was made not with panic, but with an abundance of peace and precaution; we encourage you to respond to this situation with the same discernment, love, and wisdom. Our hope is to be able to gather together on our church campus in Lexington as soon as possible, but in the meantime, we believe we can continue to learn and grow together as a church by worshipping together in our homes with friends and family. And you can still invite your friends!  If you’ll be watching the livestream on Facebook, we encourage you to share it on your feed. If you’ll be watching on our website, consider inviting someone to join you by sending them the link.
Please know that your families will continue to be in our prayers as we navigate these circumstances together. Our hope is to keep your kids engaged and provide ways for them to grow spiritually. We’ve made available to you online curriculum for your kids through Right Now Media, which we highly encourage you to utilize. It’s super easy to register and is a great way for kids to do church online along with the rest of your family! We provide anyone who calls LexCity their home free access to this service. We believe that this platform will be a great way for your family to grow and engage spiritually!

Three ways you can help as a part of our LexCity Family:
1. Pray – Pray for those impacted by the virus, as well as their families and loved ones.
2. Join us online at LexCity.tv - we know church at LexCity will look and feel different for everyone, but we believe we can engage with one another online and with your help it can be just as beneficial and encouraging! Join us online this Sunday and help engage with each other in the chat window to create even more community this season.
3. Give – Many of you are already giving online or through our text to give platform. If you have not already taken advantage of either of these giving options, we would love to help you this weekend! If you want to set up a one-time or reoccurring gift, you can do so online at lexcity.church/give. On that same site, we have more info about giving and how your giving is secure, and what it goes to support. If you want to text to give, you can text any amount to the phone number “84321”, and will be guided through the process. We want to thank you so much for your continued generosity, especially in this season!
Again, we are so grateful for your continued flexibility and understanding moving forward, as decisions for individual ministries and weekend services will be made on a weekly basis. Thank you for your patience and support; we are so encouraged by the way you demonstrate the love and peace of God in our community. Stay tuned for additional updates, and we’ll see you at our Online Campus on Sunday!
