A Conversation About Racism

We are passionate about continuing the conversation of racial reconciliation. We want to be better at listening, loving, and hearing everyone.

Share these videos with your friends and family as we continue the conversation in our church family.

For Part 2, Pastor Brian is  joined by Aaron Hogue and Courtney Love this week as we continue the conversation about Racism.

Be the Bridge | Grow Group

Want to learn and apply the steps of racial reconciliation in your own life? This multiracial conversation based on the book "Be the Bridge" will help you join in with welcoming diversity and healing into our communities.

Change begins with an honest conversation among people who are willing to speak about unspoken hurts, hidden fears, and real life experiences.  Come be a part of a group that desires to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ through racial reconciliation.

We want to see our church and community grow in love, respect and kindness for everyone. We can listen and learn so that our perspective grows. And as our perspective grows, so our heart will for all people.

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
- John 13:34-35 (NLT)

As we find and develop more tools for our community, check back here!

Some will be from LexCity, and others will be great resources from other churches or organizations. We hope these resources can help you broaden your perspective and continue to show love, respect and kindness for everyone you encounter.
