KidCity exists to team up with parents to lead children into an authentic, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
KidCity Jr. is for infants through 5 years. We believe in ministering to the needs of every age group, including our littlest members. While parents enjoy the adult services, they can rest assured that their babies are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our qualified volunteers create a positive church experience that introduces infants through 5 years to a love for Jesus early in life.
CHECK-IN & SECURITY SYSTEM
First time visitors will go to the children’s check-in kiosk where our team will register your child and give your child a name badge with a parent pick-up tag. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, a member of our team will text you.
After your first visit, the self check-in stations are provided to sign in and print your child’s name badge and parent pick-up tag.
At the end of the service, show your parent pick-up tag to the security personnel upon entrance into the KidCity, then to a volunteer in your child’s classroom and your child will be released to you.
Safety is our first commitment – without it, ministry cannot happen. All of our staff and volunteer workers have passed an interview and background check. Children will not be released to anyone not possessing the correct pick-up tag or to a minor.
Student leaders are 5th graders who want to learn how to serve and lead in the church, at home and school.
They begin by filling out an application and with parent approval begin serving during service: leading songs, running sound and light boards, assisting in small groups with adult volunteers, helping greet or serve other volunteers, just to name a few things they love to do.
Student Leaders learn as they serve and it’s beautiful to watch the power of a child as they discover the joy of living an“#It’sNotAboutMe” life. This hash tag is their motto and that truth spreads to their homes and schools as they practice servant leadership everywhere they go.
Sign up your child to be a Student Leader by filling out the Student Leader Application.

Volunteer with Kids and Families
Share your precious time by serving in one of the most fun and rewarding places on earth. Whether you are behind the scenes checking in families, shopping, building sets or running tech, or if you are face to face with smiling children each week, you will find that serving children and families gives back more than you can give away.
Try out serving for the next month and I believe you will grow younger, learn truths from the Bible that you may have missed growing up. And more than anything, I believe you will feel loved by kids and a church community that values them like Jesus.

Parent Child Dedication
God has given you a precious gift! To celebrate and come along beside you, we conduct two Parent Child Dedications each year. If you wish to participate in a Parent Child Dedication, we ask that you preregister online.
This is a special celebration for parents to gather with family and friends, making a commitment to raise their child in a Christ-centered home. During the scheduled Worship Service, you will have an opportunity, along with other families, to stand before the church and celebrate the gift of your child. There will be a specific time in the Worship Service when parents make a public commitment before the congregation and then the people of LexCity commit to support these parents as they raise their children to Know, Follow, and Share Jesus Christ.
At orientation, we will help you prepare for this special day. You will pick out a life verse, write a letter to your child that you can present to them on the day they receive Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord.
