Heart for the House | Week 1

The first law of balance is what is called the reference point.

The second law of balance is that you have to make constant corrections.

The third law of balance is that you have to have a clear objective.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
– Matthew 6:21

You need to be knowing where all your money is going.

What is our basic overall objective when it comes to money?

  1. Make all the money I can.
  2. Save all the money I can.
  3. Spend all the money I can.
  4. Give all the money I can.

I just want to be financially free to do whatever I want.

God doesn’t want something from you; God wants something for you.

David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, “Praise be to you, Lord,the God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
– I Chronicles 29:10-11

…you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things.
– I Chronicles 29:11-12

In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.
– I Chronicles 29:12

Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?
– I Chronicles 29:13-14a

Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
– I Chronicles 29:14
